Chiang Mai: Feed & Shower Experience

Our one-of-a-kind 'Feed and Shower' experience allows visitors an opportunity to interact closely with elephants in an ethical manner.

Observe the elephants we care for, feed them fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables, and join them as they cool down in a custom-built outdoor elephant shower designed to simulate rain.

Witness the majestic beauty and remarkable behaviours of elephants firsthand as you feed them from a specially-built viewing platform, then observe them as they bathe and roam freely in their scenic home. EJS Chiang Mai's 'Feed Me' experience is perfect for anyone with a busy schedule who wishes to spend time with elephants ethically, or for those wanting a brief introduction to our project.

Visitors participating in the 'Feed & Shower' experience will also have the chance to learn how to recycle elephant excrement into paper in our special Elephant Poop Paper class, as part of Elephant Jungle Sanctuary's sustainability initiative.

Enjoy our free shuttle service available twice a day from the EJS Office.
Departures are at 9:00 AM (10:00 AM Round)
1:00 PM (2:00 PM Round).
For our Feed Me and Feed & Shower programs, we use local transportation such as red songthaew trucks or covered pickup trucks with rear seating.
Our program will continue even in heavy rain. There will be no cancellations due to rain.

Please make your way to our office located at Thapae Street for a comfortable and convenient transfer to the sanctuary. Free transfer service have limited seat, if you would like the EJS office transfer, please make sure that you have select the include transfer option.
